London Collections: Menswear Autumn/Winter 2014-15

The fashion season is again upon us, how exciting! Starting with the London menswear collections. Sometimes I think that menswear is never as exciting as womenswear, but I always underestimate the innovative designs and inspiration that the collections carry.

ANDROGYNY

I love the androgynous feel that has been more apparent in the past recent seasons. The cross gender designs are intriguing. I especially love how I can look through both men and women catwalks and think "I would wear that!"

KNITWEAR

I love knitwear! In the winter, not only does it keep you warm, as shown below, it can be stylish as well as practical! I definitely think that knitwear mixed with other materials looks amazing and so luxurious!

Topman Design
Dolce and Gabbana

METALLICS

Metallics always set a lovely tone for autumn/winter and provide a richer feel to the collection so are always welcome in my eyes. I love the luxe feel an all over metallic outfit gives as well as the sporty aspect met by the baggier fitting clothes.

Diesel Black Gold
Astrid Anderson
Gieves & Hawkes
Richard James

PRINTS

Prints make anything exciting, especially when there's a great mixture in one collection! It's always fun to see what the designers do differently with each print and how they develop them from their previous collections.

Hope you've enjoyed buckling my belt.
