I'm Sandstoned

Recently we have been having our garden revamped. It has taken longer than expected but is finally starting to take shape.

A weaving path separates 3 sections of the garden as you walk down it. This path will lead to a 6ft tall by 9ft wide wall, which my artistic dad will being using as his art installation (more to come on this in a later post - when it is complete). The first section of the garden is grass and the final section before this wall is going to be slate chippings, however, it is the section that lies in between these 2 that I am focusing on in this post.
After much debate and price comparison, my parents finally settled on using Indian sandstone for the middle section. This material creates a vast array of patterns and colours that are only enhanced by water - perfect for rainy old England!

As I was walking along the path today, the variety of each individual paving stone really stood out to me - just showing that nature really is beautiful and sometimes, better left as it is!

Keep buckling my belt,

T
